When a group of Paris Saint-Germain ultra players attacked a pub full of Newcastle United supporters, there were unsettling scenes in France.

Newcastle United Supporters Club shared the following message on social media after the incident: "Please be careful tonight in Paris. Let's unite and look after each other." Local police reportedly warned pubs catering to away fans to close early to reduce the risk of violence.
