Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly open to allowing two of their first-team stars to leave the club when the winter transfer window reopens.

The Red Devils are gradually extablishing a new shape in their squad as they look to regain their place as one of the best teams in the division.

The move to achieve that commenced last summer transfer market when Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag and his staff signed five players and allowed some big departures.

According to Team Talk, those trends will continue this winter when the transfer window becomes active, with the likes of Christian Eriksen and Casemiro expected to find new homes.

The report claims that the duo would be allowed to leave this January should they feel so.

Former Madrid midfielder Casemiro was once the backbone of Manchester United's midfield but has shown signs of decline in the past few months. He has been inconsistent and has been invisible in crucial games.

United are currently reassessing the long-term future of the Brazilian at the club and could have him depart for another club by winter. New signings Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo are seen as the future of United's midfield.

Mainoo is living proof that young lads can become regulars when given the opportunity. The teenager is considered the club's present and future and the club is reportedly willing to continue supporting him as he improves himself to better serve the club.

Speculation is mounting that Arsenal could be eyeing Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic.

The ace marksman is being seen as a potential acquisition when the January transfer window opens.

Throughout the summer, there was chatter about Arsenal's search for a fresh striker to bolster their goal scoring threat.

With Eddie Nketiah's transfer to Crystal Palace, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus are the main attackers.

According to Tutto Juve, Vlahovic is one who the Gunners would love to bring into the club.

Whether a deal can be done midseason, given Juve will be chasing trophies, is unclear.
