According to GHANAsoccernet.com, Isaac Mintah, a former attacker for the Aduana Stars, has formally started training with giants Asante Kotoko in preparation for a potential transfer.

The 25-year-old ended his stint with the Libyan team Al-Ahli and is currently single.

After his daring performance for Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League the previous season, Mintah joined Al-Ahli in February 2024.

Before leaving for better opportunities, the 23-year-old forward scored 17 goals and made 4 assists in 40 games in Ghana's top league.

The former New Edubiase United forward has returned to Ghana after a brief sojourn in Libya in anticipation of a potential move during the second transfer window.

On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, Mintah began training with Asante Kotoko to join the team during the next transfer window.

But before signing a deal with the record Premier League winners, the gifted forward must win over the Porcupine Warriors' technical staff.

According to Prosper Narteh Ogum, coach of Asante Kotoko, the Porcupine Warriors would add players to their roster in the second transfer window.

"I believe we will continue to develop the team in the departments where we need to in the second round. Thus, without a doubt, we will do it," he stated.

Michael Baidoo, an attacker from Ghana, scores in Elfsborg's back-to-back Europa League games.

In Elfsborg's 4-3 loss to Galatasaray, Ghanaian attacker Michael Baidoo scored his second straight penalty, continuing his stellar play in the UEFA Europa League.

Baidoo's calm penalty kick kept his team in the game despite the Swedish team's defeat, and the 24-year-old's performance was exceptional.

After a VAR review verified that Galatasaray's Barış Yılmaz had handballed in the box, Baidoo scored in the second half. Under duress, Baidoo remained composed and scored in consecutive European games by sending goalie Günay Güvenç in the wrong direction. He had a part in Elfsborg's heroic comeback from a 3-0 halftime deficit.

Despite the Swedish team's inability to finish their comeback, Baidoo's recent play has been a highlight of Elfsborg's Europa League season.

As the team navigates challenging upcoming games, he continues to be a vital member. The Ghanaian forward, whose confidence is rising, will try to motivate Elfsborg in their final group-stage games. This season, the 25-year-old has five goals in 11 games.
