Air France’s recent decision to cease operations in Ghana marks a significant retreat from one of West Africa’s key aviation hubs. The French carrier, which has served the Accra-Paris route for decades, announced that it would no longer operate flights to and from Ghana’s capital after a series of operational challenges and financial strains. The End of an Era for Air France in Ghana


Air France’s departure from Ghana, scheduled for later this year, ends a long-standing presence in the country. Moreover, Ghana’s growing middle class and its status as an economic hub in West Africa may continue to attract new airlines looking to tap into the region’s potential.
