Business mogul and philanthropist Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, has explained that his newly established movement, "New Force," is not a political party but one for the socio-economic development of the country. Cheddar stated in the release that the aim of the movement was to unite all manner of Ghanaians to work towards collective progress in nation-building.
Cheddar, famous for his business acumen and vast contributions to a wide range of philanthropic causes, called the burgeoning speculation over political ties to said movement. "New Force is not about politics; it's about progress. We are not building a political party; we are building a movement that's trying to bring Ghanaians together toward the common goal of nation-building," he affirmed.
The businessman, who has been vocal on issues relating to economic development, education, and youth empowerment, explained that the movement would focus on practical solutions to some of the most pressing challenges facing the country, including unemployment, poverty, and inadequate infrastructure. "We believe that when Ghanaians come together, set aside political differences, and work for the common good, we can achieve greatness," he added.
Cheddar called for a shift in mindset in which citizens should instill in themselves a culture of self-reliance and shared responsibility amongst one another. He further commented that the dominant challenges facing the nation can only be overcome through collaboration between government, private sector, and civil society.
The movement, Cheddar said, would be launched with a series of activities that will help arm the youth with more power, promote local businesses, and encourage sustainable development in every corner of the nation.
While the movement is gaining momentum, Cheddar's clarion call for unity and development has been appealing to the majority of Ghanaians who are yearning to see some degree of change. As it stands now, nobody knows how the movement will unravel, but definitely, his dream of a prosperous and united Ghana is beaming with attention and followership.
In brief, Cheddar proclaimed that New Force's mission is very simple: "To develop Ghana, not to create political divisions."
