Nigerian-born gospel singer Dani Andi known for his unique Afro-soul and R&B gospel blend, has designed a project called “Blessed Beyond Words” as a form of worship to God. Dani Andi revealed that the seven-track debut EP that was released on November 22, 2024, will redefine the genre by offering an authentic and inspiring worship experience.
The gospel artist disclosed that he was brought up in a family that valued faith in Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria where his musical career began at a young age. According to him, he performed in church choir and led worship in various congregations. He was born as Daniel Andy.
Daniel Andy now Dani Andi a graduate of the Federal University of Uyo, has stated that “Blessed Beyond Words EP” effortlessly merges worship with an upbeat celebration of life’s blessings, describing it as a “soundtrack of faith for many.” He studies music while in college and he is a music director.
The EP begins with the spirited anthem “Hallelujah,” a track that pulses with vibrant rhythms and resounding praises to God. “Safe” provides a contrast, evoking a sense of peace and shelter as it speaks to God’s role as a refuge for His people. In “Everything,” listeners are drawn into a tender love song that celebrates a believer’s intimate relationship with God, emphasising total surrender and devotion.
“Daddy” brings an infectious, danceable energy with its Afropop influences, celebrating God’s provision and care in a way that deeply resonates. Following suit, “Trust” and “Blessed” carry on this uplifting message, with lyrics that encourage believers to stay firm in their faith, regardless of the challenges they may face.
The EP ends on a soothing note with the slowed-down version of “Trust,” calling moments of reflection and communion with God. From a humble beginning, he has touched many souls through his songs.
