David Ocloo is no longer the assistant coach for Asante Kotoko. Prior to their match against Hearts of Oak, Coach Ocloo departed. While the reasons behind Ocloo’s resignation remain unclear, his departure marks the end of his tenure with the club. The man was part of all the two terms of coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has left for reasons that are obviously going to be a new adventure or possibly educational reasons. Also note that coach Ocloo left before the game against Hearts of Oak. Best of luck to the man who has helped Kotoko for some time now. Remember he was in charge when Asante Kotoko beat hearts to win the democracy cup.
In 2017, we had money in the Infrastructure Fund. Today, it has been depleted and not replenished. In 2017, we had a Stabilization Fund to keep us afloat during difficult times; we don’t have that now. Loans had already been secured for some of the projects. Today, we don’t have the same. This next government has inherited a mess. The NPP government managed this country as though they wanted it to be their last. They increased consumption and depleted the coffers. The depth of the problem has not been revealed yet; more will come to light.
If John Dramani Mahama wants to buy time, he has to go after corrupt officials and deal with questionable deals. We need some sanity in the system. In terms of the implementation of some promises, realistically, time is need, the space to spend is not there. When you are in a hole, your primary target is to be on ground before thinking of getting on the tree.As citizens, we need to support the government, things won't get better in one year, it might not in two, but the signs must be seen that we are going to get better as time goes on, they must start work right from swearing in. As the notion is, no honey moon in this era where the country has gotten to.
