At the Tuba Astroturf in Krokrobite, Accra, Asante Kotoko defeated Dreams FC 2-1 after a fierce battle to extend their winning streak.
In the first half, the Porcupine Warriors took charge and scored twice in three minutes. After a well-placed cutback, Yahaya Baba opened the score in the 40th minute with a close-range tap-home. Saaka Dauda gave Kotoko a decisive lead in the 43rd minute after bouncing on a rebound and doubling the lead.
In the second half, Dreams FC emerged stronger because they refused to give up. In the 58th minute, Joseph Esso cut the deficit in half, paving the way for a nerve-racking conclusion. Dreams failed to find the equalizer despite their best attempts.

Following his goal in West Ham United's 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion, Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has spoken out about his favored position on the field.

Kudus sat on a traditional Ghanaian stool with an elephant motif at the bottom to celebrate his accomplishment. In an interview following the game, he clarified that his celebration introduced the world to a little bit of Ghana.
