The Baba Yara Stadium has been rejected by the Ghana Football Association Club Licensing Committee, putting Asante Kotoko in a difficult position ahead of the league’s resumption.

Club sources have disclose that the stadium was deemed unfit due to the absence of a designated safe zone, a key requirement under the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols 2025. 

With limited time to rectify the issues, Kotoko may be forced to look for an alternative venue, with the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese emerging as a possible option. Kotoko now face a race against time to either address the safety concerns at Baba Yara or confirm a new home ground before the league resumes on March 7. (Via Ghana Sports Network). As Accra Hearts Of Oak are also caught in the same web of finding an alternative. And it could be either the WAFA Sogakope park , or Hearts Of Lions Kpando stadium and maybe the Tema new town astro turf where vision football club plays. And this possibilities could come to bare this weekend as the Ghana Premier League returns. 

Pooley's death has exposed lots of insensitive people here much to my disappointment. Some people basically have not sympathy for humans and not even death could change their dislike for the person.  I get increasingly mad when i see people saying some of us have attached emotions to this.

What else could trigger uncontrolled emotions than seeing someone been killed just for following a league that most people have abandoned with his own resources?I know the killer will definitely be arrested and dealt with accordingly as well as those who aided in the murder but i pray for all those who don't seem to feel what pooley's wife and children are going through since his demise. May we not even see the shadow of such cruel act and untimely death in our lives.Much respect to the GPL's number one client!
