Dr. Yussif Sulemana, the newly appointed Managing Director of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), has received a warm blessing from the Overlord of Dagbon, Yaa Naa Mahama Abukari II. On Saturday, April 19, 2025, Dr. Sulemana visited the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi to formally announce his appointment and seek royal blessings from the Overlord. This visit was not just a mere formality, but a symbolic gesture underscoring the importance of staying connected to one's roots, especially in times of great responsibility. The meeting highlighted the strong bond between Dr. Sulemana and the people of Dagbon, as he sought to solidify his relationship with the traditional authorities.
During the meeting, Yaa Naa Mahama Abukari II expressed his happiness over the appointment and offered his full support to Dr. Sulemana. The Overlord emphasized the significance of the new role and urged the TOR boss to justify the confidence placed in him by President John Mahama.
