Two suspects namely Stephen wayo and kwabend Anderson have been arrested in connection to raping a 29 year old seamstress at ejisu in the Ashanti region. The victim known as mavis etornam, was confirmed being raped when she was examined at the ejisu municipal clinic.
Mavis from her side of the story narrated that, she is a seamstress and a family member of Stephen wayo came to patronize her, so after the work done she decided to go and deliver the package to the client. Upon reaching the house she found out the client was not around and it was Stephen wayo and his friend kwabeng Anderson was around, that was when the both forced her in the room and raped her.
Mavis went on to explain Stephen was his ex boyfriend, and the client she was to deliver the cloth was stephen’s sister. Stephen refused to take the parcel belonging to her sister on her behalf and told me to go open the door and put it there whiles he and his friend stood outside. I followed the instructions and went ahead to put it inside, that was when they both attacked locked me up and raped me.
It was my screaming and cries that alerted the near by neighbors something wasn’t right and they quickly called the police and Stephen wayo and kwabeng Anderson were both arrested.
Mavis who had bruises all over her body was quickly rushed to the hospital for treatment . She had bruises all over her faces and body because she tried fighting back to avoid them raping her. They gave her heavy punches because she was making things difficult for her.
Mavis is currently are the hospital still recovering and receiving treatment.
