Today, the 1st of match 2022 tye minister of tourism Kojo Oppong Nkrumah announced that the first batch of Ghanaians in Ukraine who cried for help had arrived in ghana safely.

Weeks ago, the world woke up to the news that Russia invading Ukraine which lead to the death of about 200 people and others injured. This made Africans in the diaspora terrified and called upon their government to come to evacuate them.

Ghanaians in Ukraine also called for help and the government and its ministers have done a great job by evacuating the first batch if Ghanaians in Ukraine to the country safely.

The minister of  foreign affairs, Shirley ayorkor botchway said the government of Ghana is committed to evaluating stranded ghanains to the country safely as it reached out to officials from Ghanaian missions in Europe to various Ukraine borders to move Ghanaians to safety.

And today Ghanaians woke up to good news, the first batch of Ghanaians in Ukraine has finally arrived as announced by the information minister Honourable Kojo oppong Nkrumah.
