Although Barcelona are satisfied with Adama Traore, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano has indicated that the chance of signing the Wolves loanee on a permanent deal is presently on hold.
Traore joined Barcelona on loan for the rest of the season in January and has had a great start to the season, netting four assists in eight games across all competitions.
Barcelona does have the option of making his temporary stay permanent, but a cost of around €30 million would be necessary. Given the financial difficulties, the Catalan management is attempting to negotiate a cheaper fee, and may even include Francisco Trinco or Riqui Puig in the deal.
Trinco, who is on loan from Barcelona, has now made 22 appearances for Wolves in the Premier League.
