E-LEARNING REVENUE TO HIT $149 BILLION IN 2022 - REPORT

Over the last decade, online education has grown in popularity.

 

According to StockApps.com, the online education business is expected to generate $148.57 billion in 2022, since the industry has grown in prominence over the previous decade.

 

 

 

Furthermore, the industry is on the right track and is predicted to rise by 10.8% year over year by 2022.

 

 

 

According to statistics obtained by the Ghana News Agency from Statista, the online education market is predicted to develop at a pace of 10.68 percent year between 2022 and 2026.

 

 

 

In 2017, the industry was only valued $65.61 billion dollars. As previously indicated, yearly revenues are estimated to reach $148.57 billion in 2022.

The sector is predicted to rise by 126.4 percent in five years.

Online learning platforms will generate $57.25 billion in sales, accounting for 38.5 percent of total income. Professional certifications account for the remaining percentage.

 

 

 

By 2026, online university education will account for 68 percent of all university education, while online platforms will account for 28 percent.

 

 

 

Currently, the United States is the obvious leader in the field of online education. In 2022, the US market will generate $62.3 billion in sales.

 

 

 

The second-largest market, China, is expected to earn $46.9 billion in sales. With a projected $8.1 billion, the United Kingdom is in third place.
