6TH EDITION OF WOMEN IN PR GHANA SUMMIT SET FOR JULY 8-9, 2022

Females in PR The annual conference for female professionals and students in the communication and public relations fields will take place in Ghana for the sixth time.

 

The two-day event, with the topic "PR Women as Change Agents in the Competitive Corporate World," will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day at the AH Hotel in East Legon. On Day 1, it will be organised electronically through Zoom and Facebook.

 

 

 

The conference this year will focus on important subjects including, but not limited to, Executive Visibility, Sustainable Development, Corporate Communications, Digital Storytelling, and Social Currency.

"For the coming year, we are looking at how PR Women can lead in fighting for change in various organisations through advocacy and establishing initiatives and campaigns that will make us competitive," says Ms. Faith Senam Ocloo, founder of Women in PR Ghana.

 

 

 

 

In addition to Uche Ofodile, Chief Executive Officer of MTN Benin, Asiedua Addae, Head, Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing, Standard Chartered Bank, and Nwamaka Onyemelukwe, Director, Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability for Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited, will be featured speakers and communication experts at the summit from Ghana, Nigeria, Benin, and the UK.

 

 

 

Two panels including professionals including Ronke Lawal, founder of Ariatu PR, Iretomiwa Akintunde-Johnson, lead PR and communications adviser for ID Africa, and Adisa Amanor, director of Abjel, will be held.

Abjel Communications; Anne Sackey, a marketing and communications professional; Georgina Asare Fiagbenu, Senior Communications Manager, MTN Ghana; Ivy Heward-Mills, Deputy Director Public Affairs, UPSA; Doro Fatoumata, Managing Director, Vlisco; and others.

 

 

 

The 2021 Top 10 Women in PR will be announced during this year's summit, along with the Women in PR Ghana Mentoring Program, which will provide young female professionals the chance to be mentored as part of one of our primary goals of mentoring the next generation of PR women.
