The Savannah Regional Minister, Saeed Muhazu Jibril, says plans are being made to guarantee that the continuous strike by educator associations don't adversely affect the scholarly schedule.
Talking during a visit to the Damongo and Ndewura Jakpa Senior High schools, he said the Regional Coordinating Council will keep on liaising with all important bodies to advance understudies' government assistance and smooth scholastic work.
Mr Jibril likewise charged the understudies to utilize their time by shaping review gatherings and reaching the board for required help where important.
"We have come here to beg you to comport yourselves as in the eventual fate of this nation lies in your grasp.
"Try not to involve this brief period wherein you are not having instructors to do terrible things. Use it to foster yourselves," he told the understudies.
Four educator associations have proclaimed an endless cross country strike - successful Monday, July 4 - over requests for the installment of the Cost of Living Allowance (COLA).
The associations, containing the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT), the Teachers and Educational Workers Union (TEWU) and the Coalition of Concerned Teachers Ghana (CCT), are requesting that the 20% of their essential compensation be paid to them.
They have put their modern activity on government's inability to pay the COLA, which they contend might have assisted with alleviating the effect of the increasing cost for most everyday items.
In a reaction to an objection by the headmistress of Damongo SHS over moves with kitchen staff because of the strike, Mr Jibril was confident the worries raised by striking gatherings would be tended to sooner.
He further lauded administration of the schools for their endeavors in keeping up with mental soundness and holding the understudy in line.
On her part, the Savannah Regional Director of Ghana Education Service (GES), Hajia Katumi Natogmah Attah, approached understudies to truly keep quiet and take their investigations.
She focused on that there wouldn't be any interruption to the scholarly schedule.
