Bayern Munich has signed Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus.
Bayern Munich has agreed to terms with Juventus on a five-year contract worth €80 million [£67.8 million].Bayern Munich paid the same fee to Atlético Madrid for defender Lucas Hernández in 2019.
De Ligt, 22, signed a five-year contract with Juventus from Ajax in July 2019 and spent three seasons with the Serie A champions.
"I'm thrilled to be joining this fantastic club," De Ligt said. "FC Bayern is one of the most successful clubs in Germany, Europe, and the world." "I felt genuine appreciation from the sports management, coach, and board right from the start, which convinced me."
Bremer to replace De Ligt at Juventus
Massmiliano Allegri's side have beaten Inter to a deal to sign the Brazilian center-back from their city rivals. To replace Matthijs de Ligt, Juventus are set to sign Torino defender Bremer in a deal worth up to €47 million (£40 million or $48 million). The Brazil international had been linked with a move to Inter, Juve's Serie A rivals, but GOAL can confirm that the Bianconeri have won the race to sign him. Bremer has already said goodbye to his Torino teammates and will join the Bianconeri on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Massimiliano Allegri's side will pay an initial €42 million (£36 million or $43 million) for the 25-year-old centre-back. The Serie A club has signed Bremer to replace De Ligt at the heart of their defense, with Bayern expected to pay around €80 million (£68 million) for the Dutch international this summer.Juventus considered several candidates to replace De Ligt in the squad, including Villarreal's Pau Torres, Fiorentina's Nikola Milenkovic, and Arsenal defender Gabriel.
Last season's Serie A Player of the Year, appeared to be one of the more difficult targets for Juve, as Inter appeared set to complete a move for him instead, while Liverpool had also been linked earlier this year.
Sevilla have REJECTED a £47 million bid from Chelsea for Jules Koundé.
'Marca' reports that Sevilla have rejected Chelsea's 55 million euro offer for Jules Kounde. His preferred destination is Barcelona, and now, 'Los Cules' have more time to out-negotiate the English side for the defender and grant his wish.
Sevilla are in need of selling a top player in order to balance their books and Jules Kounde is someone who fits the profile. The defender is well liked by Barcelona, Chelsea, and PSG. Although his preferred destination is the Catalan capital, it is the London team that is working the hardest for his signature. However, this is not to say that "Los Cules" are going to stop fighting for him. It was recently brought to light that Chelsea had made a 55 million euro bid for the defender. However, according to 'Marca', this has been rejected. This means that Joan Laporta, Barca president, now has more time to make his own offer, which could be in the pipeline should players like Frenkie de Jong leave the club and free up some finances.
The Andalusians know that they should move the player on as quickly as possible in order to prevent uncertainty in their squad. But, as he has done in bygone years, Monchi is prepared to play the long game in order to get the best agreement possible for his player.
West Ham holds further talks with Jesse Lingard
West Ham have held additional talks with Jesse Lingard about a possible transfer. Lingard is a free agent after leaving Manchester United, and The Guardian reports that David Moyes is eager to sign him.
Lingard, who can play as a winger or an attacking midfielder, struggled to find regular playing time at United last season, but there is plenty of interest in him, with Nottingham Forest keeping an eye on the situation.
Everton, Leicester, Newcastle, and Tottenham are among the clubs interested in Lingard. In addition, MLS clubs and a Saudi Arabian team are interested. Lingard is demanding £180,000 per week, which has caused the situation to drag on for some time
