Great Olympic midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has pleaded with Asante Kotoko's management to add players to their roster in an effort to win the Ghana Premier League championship.

Despite sitting third on the league log, the Porcupine Warriors have yet to live up to expectations in the current Ghana Premier League season.

At the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, the record holders of the Ghana Premier League were held to a 1-1 tie.

They have 11 games remaining in the season and are presently third in the league standings with 19 points.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, the former Black Stars midfielder expressed reservations about the Porcupine Warriors' defense and demanded that the team strengthen if they truly want to win the league championship.

"Let's face it, they possess the ball really effectively, but their defense is a little weak, and while their midfield isn't terrible, Agadas needs to add an experienced player. Because Mukwala cannot do all the runs, they need to concentrate on their assault.

They have a good team, but they need to add more players if they intend to win the league. He spoke.

Agyemang Badu made one appearance for Kotoko before moving on to better things.
