The Greater Accra Tour by Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, who is running for the NDC's flagbearer position, got underway and had a great first day.
The great people of Ningo Prampram and Kpone Katamanso welcomed the trip with open arms, and Dr. Duffuor expressed his thanks for their steadfast support. Dr. Duffuor considers this journey to be extremely important since it gives him the chance to interact with the populace, comprehend their issues, and communicate his ideas and vision.
Dr. Duffuor discussed plans during the visit that would establish a pay scale for NDC National Executives, a pension plan for retired NDC executives, revive the Heroes Fund, and put in place a cutting-edge collation system in time for the 2024 elections.
Dr. Duffuor contends that the NDC's grassroots constituency is its lynchpin, and it is time to honor and value their efforts. Dr. Duffuor is pleased to announce that he will bring back the Heroes Fund, which would provide Ghanaians who have put themselves in danger to promote the nation's principles with much-needed support. With the Heroes Fund's reinstatement, long-term safeguards will be put in place to make sure it doesn't run out again.

It is anticipated that the Heroes Fund's rebirth would act as a support system for the NDC's grassroots, giving party members courage and confidence and bolstering the party's support structure.
Dr. Duffuor has pledged to revolutionize Ghana within two years if granted the chance to be the country's leader. The first year will be a year of revival, and the second year, 2025, will mark a full recovery. Moreover, he promised to reduce government spending and step up domestic resource mobilization.
