In order to improve child welfare and education, the Tolon District and Sagnarigu Municipality have launched Early-Childhood Development Centers (ECDC) and Child Welfare Centers.
The Baptist Child Development Project and the Tahima Baptist Child Development Program, two subsidiary programs, built the two institutions.
The Taiwan Foundation for Children and Families (TFCF) paid GH410,332.09 for the Early-Child Development Center to be built in Sanga.

It has an office, a dining area, restrooms, a playground, chairs, and playthings.
At a cost of GH165,002.13, a child welfare center is also being built at the Gburimani Health Centre.
The clinic is anticipated to monitor children's health, development, and growth, as well as offer nursing moms advice and counseling. It is funded by the Children Believe Foundation, a Canadian nonprofit organization.
The facilities were officially opened in separate ceremonies, with the program leader, Paul Napari, stating that the facilities will boost early childhood education in the recipient areas as well as the delivery of health services to children and lactating mothers.
"Before the welfare center was built, rain always poured down on women and children during clinic days, endangering their health.
Also, owing to inadequate furniture and a lack of space, which was really terrible, they occasionally used to sit on the floor during service delivery," he explained.
He encouraged the authorities to make effective use of the facilities while guaranteeing ongoing upkeep so they can fulfill their intended functions.

Esenam Kavi De Souza, associate country director for Children Believe, stated that as early childhood education and child health lay the groundwork for future growth and development, they have concentrated on these issues over the past five years.
"It is the obligation of the men to guarantee that your children get the greatest care," she lectured the community members, encouraging the ladies to bring their children to the facilities for the best care.
Naa Mohammed Abdulai, the Chief of Gburimani, praised the charity and its donor for the gift and said it would significantly enhance the delivery of healthcare in the region.
Nevertheless, he urged the development of a facility for the production of potable drinking water for the residents of Gburimani and its surroundings in order to resolve the ongoing issue of water scarcity during the previous years.
