Barcelona prepared to offload forward for €25 million this summer
Barcelona defeated Atletico Madrid 1-0 after Ferran Torres scored the game's only goal. Pedri, the attacker's teammate and the one who scored the goal, immediately complimented the attacker.
Ferran Torres does not, however, seem to have a future at Barça despite his goal. He has drawn a lot of attention ever since moving to Catalonia, largely because Barcelona paid a whopping €55 million for his services.
It is appropriate to note that Torres has fallen short of expectations. He hasn't been as productive as expected this season, scoring just four goals in La Liga. Barcelona is therefore willing to consider selling him in the upcoming summer.
Javi Miguel claims that the Catalans would consider selling Ferran Torres for a price of about €25 million. The club is willing to accept a loss in light of the fact that they cannot recover the €55 million they paid for the player.
Barcelona acknowledges that it would be ridiculous to want more than €25 million. If the attacker continues to score goals in critical games like he did against Atletico Madrid on Sunday, his price might go up.
Ferran has a great potential to raise his worth going into the summer transfer market with eight games still to play.
Atletico Madrid has been connected to the former Manchester City starlet, and Inter Milan may also be interested in the attacker as they attempt to sign some of Barça's underperforming players at the end of the season.
Barcelona may be able to generate some much-needed money through the sale of Torres as they try to both cut back on their compensation structure and sign new players during the summer transfer window.which would enable them to acquire the services of players like Lionel Messi and a proper full back who would also be able to complement our attack.
