Liverpool's renaissance also saw the rebirth of an uncertain midfielder at the club, who has now shown Jürgen Klopp a different side as he continues his best form since before until now.
Things are looking a lot brighter at
Liverpool in recent weeks. In a long streak of invincibility and hopes of finishing in the top four that failed to materialize, Jürgen Klopp could not have dreamed of a return to better form.
Much of the credit goes to Klopp for bringing Liverpool back from the brink. With some minor tactical tweaks such as Trent Alexander-Arnold moving into midfield, the Liverpool boss has managed to revive what seemed lost at Anfield - unafraid to issue tough calls throughout. the way, including sitting on the bench for a long time to make a lot of money. to Darwin Núñez. Surprisingly, a central figure in this revival is Curtis Jones.
Before April, Jones himself appeared to be missing. He has done little to make an impact in the first team and has rarely played, especially since the start of the year.
Already 22 years old, it seems his future may at least temporarily lie elsewhere, away from Liverpool's rigorous standards.
But after signing a long-term deal earlier this season, Klopp has given Jones another chance to prove himself recently, and the Liverpool academy graduate has seized the opportunity with both hands. With strong performances in the heart of Liverpool's midfield, Jones was as vital to the Reds' progress as Alexander-Arnold.
In all nine Liverpool games unbeaten, Jones started eight and became almost invincible, making that left midfield role his own.

Bringing fresh energy and attacking qualities to the team, Jones' ability to put the ball into the danger zone and create chances has helped Liverpool thrive. He has personally contributed with a goal and an assist, and at the moment it is difficult to see his future elsewhere than Anfield in the long term.
Until recently, Jones had never started more than 5 consecutive Premier League matches for Liverpool, now he has started 8 consecutive matches. It's easy to see why he's showing his best side now. He has never been in such good form, as he has never been able to have such a consistent streak.

For example, against Brentford, Jones was tasked with going a little deeper. With Klopp choosing four strikers, Jones had to sit on the bench to make room for Alexander-Arnold in midfield.
