Cristiano Ronaldo and his Al Nassr team are still in the doldrums this season in the Saudi League. From having everything to play for to be the champions, it seems that Croatian coach Jelicic's team has run out of gas.

On Matchday 26, with four games to go, Al Nassr were held 1-1 at second-bottom Al Khaleej. It was a severe blow to their title hopes against a team battling relegation.

Poor run of form

Al Nassr, who have only managed to win two of their last five league games, were once again on the back foot and it could have been worse: Al Khaleej took the lead through Fabio Martins' goal, only to be cancelled out by Spain's Alvaro Gonzalez, who celebrated his first goal in Al Nassr's yellow jersey.

It was 17 minutes into the game and Al Nassr rarely troubled Marwan Al Haidari's goal after that.

In the closing stages of the game, Talisca had a chance to win the game, but his shot hit the crossbar and went wide of the target. Cristiano, meanwhile, has only managed one goal in his last five games.

If Al Ittihad win in Monday's closing game, Al Nassr will stay second, six points off the pace with four games to play.

Winning the league is getting tougher for Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr. It won't be long before it looks like mission impossible.

Allegri delighted with Iling-Junior for Juventus victory at Atalanta

Juventus coach Max Allegri was delighted with Samuel Iling-Junior after victory over Atalanta.

In his first Serie A start for Juve, the former Chelsea trainee scored his first goal for the Bianconeri.

Allegri said, "He's a guy who has quality and who plays both on and off the pitch. Today was a match in which I needed that type of player compared to (Filip) Kostic who is more linear."

He continued, "These points have an important weight because we haven't won away since 19 March. Winning in Bergamo wasn't easy, Juventus had never beaten Atalanta in the last six games. They're a physical team that plays well, it wasn't easy.

"It's an important victory achieved by the boys, they will certainly dedicate it to (Mattia) De Sciglio because we lost him for a long time.

"We have to rest and think about this wonderful semi-final of the Europa League, hoping that they will give me a free trip to Budapest."
