Manchester United have just five players worth more than 40 million euros (£34 million) in their squad.
Erik ten Hag's men have ambitious plans for the season, having been linked with big money deals for Harry Kane, Randal Kolo Muani and Victor Osimhen.
However, according to The Athletic, United's current transfer budget for the summer transfer window is around £100m.
Of course, this figure could also be shaken if the club fails to qualify for the Champions League, due to Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.

Since the FFP stipulates that a club's spending depends on the revenue it generates, United will earn less playing in the Europa League than in Europe's top league, and will therefore be allowed to spend spend less on transfers. However, The Athletic claims that United's transfer budget will also include the money the club makes from the sale of players. But what is the value of the Old Trafford team?
