Tuesday, Smith summoned his team for a meeting of the minds.
After canceling their day off this week, Dean Smith informed the Leicester players of their current situation.
After losing 5-3 to Fulham on Monday, which left them in third-bottom and two points from Premier League safety, the team was brought in on Tuesday.
Smith presided over a meeting at the Foxes' Seagrave training facility and thinks the group took any messages to heart, but we won't know by sure until Monday when they play home to Liverpool.
I don't like things to drag on, therefore it was supposed to be a day off. We entered and organized it. The proof will come on Monday, but I thought it went well," he remarked.

"In this game, I've always been taught that while you can't undo what's already happened, you can learn from it, make the necessary corrections, and rapidly move on.
We shouldn't worry about the Fulham game for another two to three days,
"I wished to put it to rest. When I rewatched the game, I was able to see the mistakes that led to the goals and opportunities that we gave up with relative ease. It was important to get that information out there as soon as possible, speak with the players, and then continue.
"I did the talking and told them what I expected in certain situations of the Fulham game, what we needed to do better, and what we will do better going forward."
With only three games remaining, Smith maintains that Leicester's battle for survival cannot be written out.
"We were written off six games ago, and then all of a sudden Leeds and Everton were written off, but Everton aren't," he claimed. The game can soon shift.
"Monday was our 'I Don't Like Mondays' (Boomtown Rats) day; the next time, it will be someone different.
"My responsibility is to explain what happened. The following day, we returned so that we could wrap up and rationalize the game. The players are aware of what transpired, as are the other coaches, and we have moved on.
