Man City, Liverpool and Bayern Munich will all travel to Asia this summer

European, powerhouses Manchester City, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich are set to embark on Asian tours this summer, as a series of fixtures across the continent were announced on Tuesday.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, on the verge of securing another Premier League title, will face his former team Bayern Munich and Japanese champions Yokohama F Marinos in friendly matches in Tokyo. The clash against Marinos is scheduled for July 23, followed by the match against Bayern three days later, both to be held at Tokyo's National Stadium.

Bayern Munich, in addition to their encounter with City, will also play against J-League side Kawasaki Frontale before heading to Singapore to take on Liverpool on August 2.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool will participate in two games in Singapore, where they will also compete against Leicester on July 30.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur, who are in the process of hiring a new coach, will travel to Australia, Thailand, and Singapore for their pre-season tour. The Spurs will face West Ham in Perth on July 18 and then travel to Bangkok for a match against Leicester on July 23. Their tour will conclude with a game against Roma, led by their former coach Jose Mourinho, in Singapore on July 26.

Spanish champions Barcelona will also make their way to Asia, squaring off against Andres Iniesta's Vissel Kobe in Tokyo on June 6, shortly after completing their league season.

Additionally, Scottish champions Celtic are scheduled to visit Japan, where they will take on coach Ange Postecoglou's former team, Marinos, in Yokohama on July 19.
