QNET, an international sales corporation, has issued a warning to the public, warning them to be on the alert for scammers using the company's name to deceive consumers.
It said that in order to apprehend and hold such scammers accountable, it was working with pertinent state security authorities.
Speaking to the media in Accra, QNET's Chief Transformation and Reputation Officer, Trevor Kuna, claimed that the company had been "unfairly bombarded with news of overseas travel and job scams" for some time. These scams, he claimed, were allegedly carried out by some of its independent representatives and other con artists who have no connection to the company.
According to Mr. Kuna, the business has been around for 25 years and sells its goods directly to customers all around the world.
With QNET playing a significant role, the direct selling sector is thought to be valued at more than $200 billion globally and to be particularly ubiquitous in the United States.
The business offers a wide variety of goods, including wellness, healthcare, jewellery, vacation packages, and educational courses.
The firm is based in Hong Kong and is a member of several respectable organisations.
According to Mr. Kuna, the company participates in direct selling since it removes the obstacles that prevent people from starting their own businesses.
"Ownership of a store or other retail space is not a requirement for people who join direct selling initiatives.
Over the course of starting a firm, they scale.
They just sign up for accounts, purchase things, and either directly sell to others or encourage others to purchase products so they may receive a commission for everything that is sold," he stated.
He outlined how the direct selling sector was straightforward and provided chances for people to have a second source of income.
Direct selling won't turn someone into a billionaire over night, but with hard work, professionalism, honesty, and determination, Mr. Kuna said, anyone might be on the road to rewriting their own life stories.
In addition to the business prospects the firm offered, he said that its items were expertly crafted to perform at their peak.
