So, there’s been a lot of hype around what Martin Ødegaard apparently said — something like, “We’re going to Paris FULL GAS and we believe we’re going to turn it around.” Whether he said those exact words or not, one thing’s for sure: the man is fired up, and so is the team.
Ahead of this huge Champions League showdown against Paris Saint German, Ødegaard’s energy has been really clear. He said the squad is “really ready for the game and hyped up,” and honestly, that’s all I needed to hear. It’s been years since we’ve seen Arsenal back on this stage, and they’re not here to make up the numbers. They want to make a statement.
It’s been awesome watching this group grow, and Ødegaard has been a massive part of this squad. He’s not just a captain — he leads by example. You can see how much it means to him when he talks about momentum and staying focused. After a strong season so far, it feels like they’ve got the belief and the fight to go all the way to the final.
Going to Paris isn’t going to be easy at all— we all know that. PSG at home is always dangerous. But if Arsenal bring the same intensity and sharpness we’ve seen in the league, I genuinely believe they can pull it off. Ødegaard saying they’re ready to go “full gas” just shows how serious they are about this.
Personally, I think this could be one of those special nights if everything clicks. All we need is that early goal to shake things up. Let’s hope the lads leave everything on the pitch. Come on you Gunners!
