The former Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar solskjær is not happy about United letting go off Scott Mc Tominay. Ole who never lived up to expectations at United, when he joined, arguably the English giants, he went on to finish 6th in the 2018/19, 3rd in 2019/20, and 2nd in 2020/21 seasons.
With all this league finishes, he failed to win the Premier League title despite competing for it for about 4 years at the club. Before his departure from the club, he finished 7th in the 2021/22 season. This wasn't enough for tManchester United board to be convinced to give Ole more time at the club.
He won zero trophies for United but, reached the Europa League final in 2021, and lost on penalties to spanish side, Villarreal and made semi finals in other domestic cups. He was unlucky for the challenges despite having the opportunity to win trophies but failed.
Recently, he talked about Manchester United letting Scott Mc Tominay leave the club. Scott had, played 178 matches and scored 19 goals in his Premier League career. In the FA Cup, he made 24 appearances and scored 5 goals. He also played 10 games, scoring 2 goals in the EFL cup.
He played 42 matches and scored 3 goals in European matches.
Scott stats are not much for United despite bring creative and creating chances for the forwarders to score more goals. He joined Italian side, Napoli after spending over 20 years at United.
As a Manchester United fan, was Tominay's move to Napoli worth it?
