Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich are among the top contenders to recruit Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, according to his agent Mino Raiola.
Raiola said that Borussia Dortmund had the option of selling him last summer, but chose not to do so in order to prevent weakening their squad. As a result, the agent stated that Haaland will most likely leave next summer. Raiola told Sport1 that "he can and will take the next step."
"The big clubs he can go to are Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Manchester City."
City has won the Premier League five times in the last five years, far more than [Manchester] United. "We all knew this step would occur when we moved to Borussia Dortmund." Maybe this summer, maybe the summer after that. However, Erling's departure this summer is a distinct possibility. "We'll tell the club what we're thinking, and they'll tell us what they're thinking," she says, "but no decision will be made in the winter." Financially, a transfer last summer would have been preferable for [Dortmund]. They did, however, ensure the club's, supporters', and team's well-being as well as success.
"This is a decision that I deeply respect. The Dortmunders are a team with a lot of balls."
