The Black Stars of Ghana suffered a very painful exit after a 3-2 defeat to Comoros. The Ghanaian team ended up with only one point; thus failing to qualify to the next round.

Asamoah Gyan, former captain and striker of the Black Stars was evidently disappointed in the performance.

'We didn't play with ambition and passion. I have been in the game for a long time. I'm very disappointed that we are going out. We shouldn't have gone out. I'm really disappointed' - Asamoah Gyan.

The Black Stars finished last in Group C with only a point, a setback for the team that continuously made it to the last 4 in the previous years of AFCON. Ghana last won in 1982 and we still hope the next will be soon; but definitely not this year.
