More than when Gospel Artistes collaborate with secular Artistes, it comes with a lot of backlash and many people condemn such collaborations.
Many people think and believe that Gospel Artistes should not have anything to do with secular Artistes but Gospel Artiste, Empress Gifty has a different perspective to this discussion and has made her opinion known.
In an exclusive interview with MzGee on United Showbiz, Empress Gifty has revealed that she is never going to stop being on the platform of secular artistes to perform.
According to her , anytime she is invited to be on the platform of any secular artiste to perform, she sees it an opportunity to spread the Word of God to people and win souls for Christ.
Empress Gifty further reiterated that for as long as she gets invited by any secular artiste to perform on his or her platform, she would honour the invitation and perform to the glorification of God.
She also noted that she has done so many collaborations with other secular artistes apart from the one she did with hiplife artiste, Opanka which are yet to be released.
She further urged her fans to expect the song she has recorded with Reggae Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale. She did not reveal the title of the song and did not really touch on when exactly the song would be released.
Empress did not mention the names of the other secular artistes that have featured her on their songs. When asked about the way she dresses to the shows headlined by secular artistes, Empress Gifty noted that she dresses to suit the occasion.
She indicated that she cannot put on kaba and slit to any show that is headlined by a secular artiste.Empress Gifty stated depending on where she is going to perform, she knows how to dress up.
