10. Roy Keane 

Roy Keane is one of the greatest captains in Manchester United's history. The Irishman was a tough-tackling midfielder who led by example on the field. Keane helped United win seven Premier League titles, four FA Cups, and one Champions League title, and he was awarded the PFA Players' Player of the Year award in 2000. 

9. Peter Schmeichel 

Peter Schmeichel is one of the greatest goalkeepers in Manchester United's history. The Danish shot-stopper played for the club for eight years, making 292 appearances and keeping 129 clean sheets. Schmeichel helped United win five Premier League titles, three FA Cups, and one Champions League title, and he was awarded the UEFA Goalkeeper of the Year award in 1992 and 1993.
