Liverpool are keen to sign Khephren Thuram in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old French midfielder has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks and a report from Nice Matin via GFFN claims Liverpool will submit an offer for the player after the European Under-21 Championship. .
Thuram currently plays for France in the Under-21 Euro tournament and the tournament ends on 8 July.
The midfielder is believed to be worth €40 million and Liverpool are expected to submit a bid close to Nice's valuation.
Liverpool have completed the signing of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Hove Albion and they need to bring in more midfielders before the transfer window closes. The Reds have lost Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and James Milner on free transfers and they will need to replace those players in a worthy way.
Thuram will be a quality deal for the Red Devils. The 22-year-old has all the tools to become an all-round midfielder and will be a solid long-term investment for Liverpool.
Working under a coach like Jurgen Klopp can help Thuram further progress and realize his great potential. The reported asking price of 40 million euros may sound like a bargain in the long run. The midfielder has the physical and technical qualities to thrive in English football and success at Liverpool could also help him cement his place in the national team.
Furthermore, Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world and joining them would be a huge step in his career.

Arsenal have stopped selling their new £110 home jersey while 'design flaws' are rectified.
The shirt pays homage to the 'Invincibles' season, 20 years after Arsene Wenger's side went unbeaten throughout the Premier League season.
However, he incorrectly scored Arsenal's results in the 2003–04 campaign.
Kit maker Adidas said fans who purchased the jerseys will receive a refund.
In the design of the 'genuine' 2023-24 home shirt - which retails for £110 - the 2003-04 Premier League round 38 results are detailed with a row of W and D letters to highlight wins and draws throughout the season. But the shirt - worn by the players on a match day - mistakenly displayed only 32 of those results.
The "fan" jersey, which has a similar design but is a cheaper option for supporters, is not affected by the bug. It retailed for £80 and is still available at the Arsenal club store.
"The Arsenal 2023-24 Authentic Home Kit is temporarily unavailable while a design flaw is being corrected," Adidas said.
“We are working closely with the club and our partners to ensure the restocked shirts will be available as soon as possible and will offer full refunds to fans who purchased one. pcs. "This design error did not live up to the standards we have set for ourselves as a brand and we apologize to the club and their fans.
"The copied 'fan' version of the home jersey was not affected and is now widely available."
