The ex president of the Ghana football association on his visit to Kumasi based Lawson FM has spoken his mind about the current happenings ofo Ghana football.
Former GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi: "I don't think all is lost, but we have to fix it," he stated. "We have World Cup qualifiers in March against Chad and Madagascar, and I believe that the right players will have to be called for these games. It should not be the normal call-ups but players who are ready and dedicated to play for the country and the shirt."
"Football is like pregnancy and we can all see that all is not well with our game. Kurt Okraku's administration is not doing well and that is the truth. I don't know what is wrong but we can all see that all is not well. His comments on the fact that they're doing is one that many can debate but he has his own reasons though.
I don't have much information about what is happening but in five years, the current GFA has appointed five coaches which is not a good sign of a performing administration and that is not good enough and all these changes have not helped."
As the CHAN qualifiers come on Black Stars materials, Emmanuel Antwi and Albert Amoah will face Benjamin Asare on 15th December in the upcoming Super Clash.
The trio who formerly played for relegated Accra Great Olympics but have gone separate ways would face off for the first time.
Notably, Emmanuel Antwi has had a Black Stars call up since joining Kotoko whilst Albert Amoah is scoring from all angles and happens to be Kotoko's current top scorer in all competitions.
It's obvious the two former players of Olympics are having the season of their careers at the greatest football club in Ghana compared to their colleagues who joined other clubs therefore giving us much hope in the upcoming match especially when they gonna face a goalkeeper whom they know his weaknesses and how to easily deny him of a clean sheet.
Emmanuel Antwi and Albert Amoah at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, jack in can't wait!
